KOLİ Art Space is opening its first exhibition as part of "SENKRON Simultaneous Video Exhibitions" on April 15!
Featuring the works of Elçin Acun, Mert Çağıl Türkay and Yasemin Kalaycı, "Transparent" is opening at KOLI Art Space on April 15 as part of "Senkron Simultaneous Video Exhibitions". "Transparent" offers a language that aims to bring the body image to the forefront as an area of liberation with its changeable and intertwined setup. With the courage given by the possibility of the body to be “transparent”, the artists featuring in the exhibition make their visibility liquid and try to get rid of the fixed, normative and concrete forms that cultural codes constitute on the body. While the artists try to weaken ongoing social and historical fictions, the body's contact with nature, on the other hand, contains a proposal for disidentification. Anonymous performances performed by bodies aim to imply multi-layered visibility using transparency as a strategy.
It can be visited between 13:00 and 18:00 every day, except Sundays and Mondays, between April 15 and April 30, 2021.
